Who are we?

We are a group of ladies ages 24-81 with varying degrees of synchro swimming ability. Some of us started synchro as children while others have joined at mid-life and beyond. We offer a sense of camaraderie, team spirit and social interaction as well as a creative outlet for those swimmers with a competitive nature.

We train at the Repsol Sport Centre. Swim seasons run September to May. (Training is typically extended through summer months for summer competitions)

We are a competitive swim club that trains with the goal to compete annually at Provincial and National Championships, as well as World-wide competitions generally every 2 years. Our members have competed and earned medals at numerous FINA World Championships locales around the world including England, Germany, Sweden, Italy, Hungary, New Zealand and Australia.

Fee Structure

The Aquamums Swim Club relies on several fundraisers per season to cover the costs of pool rentals and coaching. We do not receive any sponsorship and competition (including travel) costs are the responsibility of each competitor. The club holds its AGM at the beginning of September for each season at which time Club Volunteers are selected, along with discussions on fees, budget, registration, competition dates, etc. Fees will vary season to season depending on pool rental prices and the type of events in which a swimmer chooses to compete. Please contact our club President at aquamums@hotmail.com for upcoming AGM information.

Practice Times

All training is in the dive tank.

Is the Aquamums Swim Club suitable for me?

If you have previous synchronized swimming experience and can perform the basic Star 1-5 elements (ie: sailboats, ballet legs, verticals, spins), you'd fit right in. Unfortunately, we do not currently have coaching capacity to teach swimmers new to Synchro.
